User Policy
Last updated: January 1, 2025. 1. Purpose and Scope The User Policy describes expected behavior and obligations for all users of Doctor App, including patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Our objective is to maintain a safe, respectful, and lawful environment for the delivery of healthcare services and related activities. This policy complements the Terms and Conditions and community guidelines. 2. Acceptable Use Users should interact with the Service honestly and respectfully. Acceptable use includes: - Providing accurate information during registration and at the time of booking. - Using the Service for legitimate healthcare purposes and communicating truthfully with providers. - Respecting the privacy, dignity, and rights of providers and other users. 3. Prohibited Conduct The following are examples of prohibited conduct and may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of access: - Harassment, threats, hate speech, or abusive language directed at providers or other users. - Fraudulent activity, misuse of payment methods, or impersonation. - Attempting to access or manipulate other users’ accounts or clinical records. - Posting or sharing content that violates privacy or confidentiality standards. 4. Provider Interactions and Feedback Patients may be invited to rate or provide feedback on services. Feedback should be factual and constructive. False statements or defamatory content are not permitted. We reserve the right to remove feedback that violates policy or is demonstrably false. 5. Account Security and Responsibility You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your login information. Notify support immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not responsible for losses resulting from shared credentials or failure to secure an account. 6. Reporting Violations If you observe harassment, inappropriate behavior, or policy violations, report the incident to support@doctorapp.example with relevant details. We will investigate reports promptly, and where appropriate, take disciplinary actions including warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. We may also cooperate with law enforcement when necessary. 7. Enforcement and Appeals We aim to apply enforcement consistently and transparently. When we take action against an account, we will notify the user and provide a reason where possible. If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may contact support to request review and appeal. We will review appeals in accordance with our internal procedures. 8. Content and Data Removal Users may request removal of certain content or account data. Requests are subject to legal and operational constraints; for example, we may retain records for regulatory compliance, billing, or dispute resolution. Cooperation with Authorities We will cooperate with legal authorities and regulators as required by law, including responding to lawful requests for data and assisting in investigations of illegal activity. 10.
